It was around Christmas time the last time I put up a First Journal Entry too. Heh.

So, basically, I've cleared my gallery completely and deleted all my old Journal entries. I'm looking at my Favorites with a hard eye too, but I'm not certain if I'm going to flush those, just out of consideration for the artists (I mean, I did favorite them and odds are I do still like them). But either way, I'm starting over. I would've just started a new account, but I really like this username... >.>

The reason is that when I first registered my dA account, I was brand new. Just picked up a pencil, eager to learn, all that sort of good stuff. My philosophy at the time was to upload EVERYTHING every time I filled a sketchbook. I'd been trying to keep up with that expectation up until recently, but I've finally decided it just doesn't fit anymore and wouldn't be representative of my work in the first place. Neither was a lot of my old stuff.

From now on, I'll just be uploading things I think are worth it, which means a big decrease in sketch density and a considerable increase in finished products. Of course, it also means that I'll only have one picture in my Gallery for a while, as my computer died and my Photoshop CS3 is therefore inaccessible until I get a new one.

Anywho, though, here's to a new year and a fresh dA page.
